Shoe Store Purchase Linked to Robbery Case

North Precinct detectives are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the men who used a robbery victim’s credit card at a local shoe store.  
The 43-year-old victim was robbed of her purse by two men on March 4th as she was unlocking the door of her Hermosa Street home.  It has since been learned that a credit card taken in the robbery was used at a Rivergate Foot Locker store and a Madison Shell Station.
Anyone recognizing the men in surveillance photos from the shoe store is urged to contact North Precinct Investigations at 862-7901 or Crime Stoppers at 74-CRIME.  Citizens can also send an electronic tip to Crime Stoppers by texting the word “CASH” along with their message to 274637 (CRIMES) or online at  Persons who contact Crime Stoppers by phone, text or Internet can remain anonymous.
