Precinct-Based Undercover Detectives Charge 130 Persons This Week

Undercover detectives assigned to the department’s seven precincts charged 130 persons with mostly drug and prostitution offenses this week as the result of investigations in various Nashville neighborhoods.
Central Precinct detectives charged 19 persons as the result of investigations at 7th Avenue South & Drexel Street, N. 1st Street, Garfield Street and Jefferson Street. Seized were 5 Suboxone strips, 3 grams of marijuana and 1 gram of crack cocaine.
East Precinct detectives charged 19 persons as the result of investigations on Brasher Avenue, Dickerson Pike, Gallatin Pike, N. 2nd Street and Kirkland Avenue. Seized were 1.3 grams of powder cocaine, 1.1 grams of crack cocaine, .3 grams of heroin, 13.5 grams of marijuana, 2 amphetamine pills, 2 methadone pills, 10 Xanax pills,13 Roxycodone pills and $577 cash.
Madison Precinct detectives charged 13 persons as the result of investigations on Willowbrook Drive, Conference Drive, Gallatin Pike, Rivergate Parkway and State Route 45. Seized were 6 grams of marijuana, 1 gram of heroin, 4 grams of crack cocaine and $290 cash.
West Precinct detectives charged 18 persons as the result of investigations on Charlotte Avenue, Pennsylvania Avenue, California Avenue and Bellmore Place. Seized were 21 grams of marijuana, 35 Suboxone pills and $435 cash.
Hermitage Precinct detectives charged 33 persons as the result of investigations on Lafayette Street, Stewarts Ferry Pike, Bell Road, Charles E. Davis Boulevard, Smith Springs Road, Cinder Road and Dabbs Avenue. Seized were 38 grams of marijuana, 17 various pills, 2 grams of heroin and 2 gram of cocaine.
North Precinct detectives charged 18 persons as the result of investigations on Cromwell Street, Whites Creek Pike, 12th Avenue North, Dr. D.B. Todd Boulevard, Scovel Street, Trinity Lane, Blank Street, 23rd Avenue North and Jefferson Street. Seized were 12.6 grams of marijuana and 1 gram of crack cocaine.
South Precinct detectives charged 10 persons as the result of investigations on Ocala Drive, Lewis Street, Lafayette Street, McMurray Drive and Brewer Drive. Seized were 3.878 pounds of heroin, 1 Xanax pill, 6 automobiles, 1 gun and $7,000 cash.
