Precinct-Based Undercover Detectives Charged 106 Persons This Week

Undercover detectives assigned to the department’s seven precincts charged 106 persons this week with mostly drug and prostitution offenses as the result of investigations in various Nashville neighborhoods.
South Precinct detectives charged 13 persons as the result of investigations on Lafayette Street, Castlegate Drive, and Edmondson Pike. Seized were five grams of marijuana, 8.2 grams of cocaine and $3,000 cash.
Hermitage Precinct detectives charged 27 persons as the result of investigations on Central Pike, Robinson Road, Martingale Drive, Lawrence Street, Donelsonwood Drive, Fairfield Drive, Murfreesboro Pike, Thompson Lane, Gordon Lane, Smith Springs Road, Philfre Court, Lebanon Pike, and Tyler Drive. Seized were 8.2 grams of cocaine, 66.8 grams of marijuana, one Clonazepam pill, three weapons and $190 cash.
West Precinct detectives charged 16 persons as the result of investigations on Charlotte Pike, 43rd and 51st Avenues North, and Tennessee Avenue. Seized were 165 oxycodone pills, 52 various pills and 142 grams of marijuana.
North Precinct detectives charged 15 persons as the result of investigations on Dry Fork Road, Clarksville Pike, Rosa Parks Boulevard, Trinity Lane, Hampton Avenue, and Old Dickerson Pike. Seized were more than 14 ounces of marijuana, 81.5 various pills, six handguns and $2,589 cash.
Madison Precinct detectives charged 9 persons as the result of investigations on Gallatin Pike, Old Hickory Boulevard, Brick Church Pike, Myatt Drive, and Dickerson Pike. Seized were 50 grams of marijuana, ten prescription pills and .5 grams of cocaine.
East Precinct detectives charged 15 persons as the result of investigations on Gallatin Pike, Dickerson Pike, Pennock Avenue, and Litton Avenue. Seized were 89 Dilaudid pills, 32 Lortab pills, 4.6 grams of cocaine, 12 grams of marijuana, two vehicles, one handgun and $2,577 cash.
Central Precinct detectives charged 11 persons as the result of investigations on 7th Avenue North, North 1st Street, Jefferson Street, and Drexel Street. Seized were two grams of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
