Precinct-Based Undercover Detectives Charged 105 Persons This Week

Undercover detectives assigned to the department’s seven precincts charged 105 persons this week with mostly drug and prostitution offenses as the result of investigations in various Nashville neighborhoods.
South Precinct detectives charged 19 persons as the result of investigations on Joyner Avenue, Southgate Avenue, and Thompson Lane. Seized were 46 grams of marijuana, 3.1 grams of cocaine and three pills.
Hermitage Precinct detectives charged 22 persons as the result of investigations on Smith Springs Road, Andrew Jackson Parkway, Old Hickory Boulevard, Autumn Knoll Court, McCrory Creek Road, Stewarts Ferry Pike, Lincoya Bay Drive, and Juarez Drive. Seized were 5.8 ounces of marijuana.
West Precinct detectives charged 23 persons as the result of investigations on Oceola Avenue, Croley Court, Maudina Avenue, and Georgia Avenue. Seized were 6.2 ounces of marijuana, 10.1 grams of hashish, 3.2 grams of heroin, 92 pills and $1,715 cash.
North Precinct detectives charged 10 persons as the result of investigations on Granada Avenue, Maclaurin Court, 10th Avenue North, Jackson Street, 17th Avenue North, and Jefferson Street. Seized were two grams of cocaine, 41.3grams of marijuana, eight pills and one shotgun.
Madison Precinct detectives charged 6 persons as the result of investigations on Gallatin Pike, Old Hickory Boulevard, and East Webster Avenue. Seized were 37 grams of marijuana and ten Lortab pills.
East Precinct detectives charged 10 persons as the result of investigations on Gallatin Pike, Trinity Lane, and Dickerson Pike. Seized were 1.6 grams of cocaine, five grams of marijuana and 28 oxycodone pills.
Central Precinct detectives charged 15 persons as the result of investigations on Lafayette Street, 1st Avenue North, Riverfront Park, Drexel Street, and Delta Avenue. Seized were 20 grams of marijuana.
