Precinct-Based Undercover Detectives Charged 116 Persons This Week

Undercover detectives assigned to the department’s seven precincts charged 116 persons this week with mostly drug and prostitution offenses as the result of investigations in various Nashville neighborhoods.
South Precinct detectives charged 16 persons as the result of investigations on Lincoln Street, Murfreesboro Pike, and Una Antioch Pike. Seized were 83 grams of marijuana and .6 grams of cocaine
Hermitage Precinct detectives charged 29 persons as the result of investigations on Smith Springs Road, Bell Road, Old Lebanon Dirt Road, Dodson Chapel Road, Lopez Drive, Lafayette Street, Murfreesboro Pike, Anderson Road, and High Rigger Drive. Seized were 7.24 ounces of marijuana, 9.4 grams of cocaine, one hydrocodone pill, five Xanax pills, 20 grams of synthetic marijuana, a motorcycle and $113 cash.
West Precinct detectives charged 14 persons as the result of investigations on Oceola Avenue, Benham Avenue, 51st Avenue North, and Briley Parkway. Seized were 14 grams of marijuana, 70 morphine pills, and 22 Suboxone strips.
North Precinct detectives charged 20 persons as the result of investigations on Pecan Street, Gwynnwood Drive, Herman Street, Dry Fork Road, Dr. D.B. Todd Boulevard, Malta Drive, 24th Avenue North, Knowles Street, and Mexico Drive. Seized were 31.8 grams of cocaine, 19.64 ounces of marijuana, eleven pills, eleven guns and $919 cash.
Madison Precinct detectives charged 12 persons as the result of investigations on Gallatin Pike, Old Hickory Boulevard, Rivergate Parkway, and East Webster Avenue. Seized were 50 grams of marijuana, 30 grams of dried khat, one gram of heroin and 22 prescription pills.
East Precinct detectives charged 12 persons as the result of investigations on Gallatin Pike, Trinity Lane, Ben Allen Road, and Dickerson Pike. Seized were three ounces of marijuana, .3 grams of cocaine, 15 Roxycodone pills and $940 cash.
Central Precinct detectives charged 13 persons as the result of investigations on Lafayette Street, 5th Avenue North, Drexel Street, and Jefferson Street. Seized were 1.3 grams of heroin, two grams of marijuana and seven Suboxone pills.
