Detectives Working to Identify Person Wanted for Questioning in Connection to Two Recent Robberies

East and North Precinct detectives are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a person wanted for questioning in connection with two recent Family Dollar robberies.
In both Family Dollar hold-ups, Sunday night at 3407 Gallatin Pike and on September 17th at 2600 Jefferson Street, the suspect demanded cash from the register at gunpoint.  
The suspect is described as a black man in his 20s with shoulder-length dreadlocks.  He is approximately 5’7” tall with a stocky, muscular build.
Anyone recognizing the person of interest from the attached surveillance photo is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 74-CRIME.  Citizens can also send an electronic tip to Crime Stoppers by texting the word “CASH” along with their message to 274637 (CRIMES) or online at  Persons who contact Crime Stoppers by phone, text or Internet can remain anonymous and qualify for a cash reward.
