Precinct-Based Undercover Detectives Charged 109 Persons This Week

Undercover detectives assigned to the department’s seven precincts charged 109 persons this week with mostly drug and prostitution offenses as the result of investigations in various Nashville neighborhoods.
South Precinct detectives charged 15 persons as the result of investigations on 2nd Avenue South, Crenshaw Street, Cameron Street, Lutie Street, Murfreesboro Pike, Harding Place, and Antioch Pike. Seized were approximately 46 grams of marijuana, two pills, and three grams of cocaine.
Hermitage Precinct detectives charged 24 persons as the result of investigations on
Bell Road, Trinity Lane, Hickory Hill Lane, Old Hickory Boulevard, and Briley Parkway. Seized were 119 grams of marijuana, six ounces of liquid codeine, 70 various pills, six grams of cocaine, two guns, one vehicle and $3,737 cash.
West Precinct detectives charged 14 persons as the result of investigations on Marsha Drive, Patterson Street, Illinois Avenue, and Cabot Drive. Seized were 85 pills, more than 13 pounds of marijuana, one gram of cocaine, five doses of LSD and a small amount of heroin.
North Precinct detectives charged 20 persons as the result of investigations on Trinity Lane, Sharpe Avenue, 25th Avenue North, Clifton Avenue, and Jefferson Street. Seized were .4 grams of cocaine, three pounds of marijuana, .1 grams of heroin and $905 cash.
Madison Precinct detectives charged 10 persons as the result of investigations on Gallatin Pike, Old Hickory Boulevard, and Mohawk and Myatt Drives. Seized were 20 grams of marijuana, one gram of cocaine, three grams of heroin and 50 prescription pills.
East Precinct detectives charged 12 persons as the result of investigations on Trinity Lane, Dickerson Pike, Marie Street, and Broadmoor Drive. Seized were 1.2 grams of cocaine, five oxycodone pills, 20 Xanax pills and $180 cash.
Central Precinct detectives charged 14 persons as the result of investigations on Drexel Street, Lafayette Street, and Jefferson Street. Seized were eleven grams of marijuana and ten oxycodone pills.
