Detectives Working to Identify Man who Attempted to Rob East Nashville Convenience Store

East Precinct detectives are working to identify the man who Monday night attempted to rob the Shell convenience store at 1001 Shelby Avenue.
The suspect implied that he had a handgun.  He fled empty handed.
The suspect is a black man in his 20s with a light complexion and a teardrop tattoo by his left eye.  He is approximately 5’9” to six feet tall and weighs approximately 180 pounds.
