Veronica Frazier surrounded by co-workersVeronica Frazier assumes her 1st day today as interim director of Metro Human Resources.

Veronica has been working the past 8 years in Metro Public Works, her last role as Assistant Director of operations.  Veronica has been an integral part of the department, taking the Metro Beautification and Environment Commission to soaring heights during her tenure.  She created the 1st  Recycling Education Station at Metro’s recycling facility to educate thousands of Nashvillians about the importance of recycling and the environment.

Under Veronica’s leadership, thousands of beautification projects and cleanups throughout Davidson County were completed.  Nashville’s already spectacular natural beauty was enhanced and preserved by her work.

Veronica is respected throughout the Public Works Department for her leadership, hard work, her dedication to Nashville, and for the kindness she showed day in and day out for those who have been fortunate to work for and alongside her.  She leaves the Public Works Department a better place then she found it and she will be greatly missed.  Veronica previously worked 11 years in the Human Resources Department, including from 2001 to 2005 serving as assistant HR director.
