Precinct-Based Undercover Detectives Charged 110 Persons This Week

Undercover detectives assigned to the department’s seven precincts charged 110 persons this week with mostly drug and prostitution offenses as the result of investigations in various Nashville neighborhoods.
South Precinct detectives charged 10 persons as the result of investigations on 5th Avenue South Ash Street, Old Hickory Boulevard, Edmondson Pike, Murfreesboro Pike, 2nd Avenue South, and Rains Avenue. Seized were approximately 20 grams of marijuana, three grams of heroin and 7.72 ounces of cocaine.
Hermitage Precinct detectives charged 33 persons as the result of investigations on Lewis Street, University Court, Lafayette Street, Murfreesboro Pike, Thompson Lane, Briley Parkway, Stewarts Ferry Pike, and Bluewater Trace. Seized were more than 4.5 pounds of marijuana, 9.5 grams of cocaine, 61 various pills, four guns and $473 cash.
West Precinct detectives charged 15 persons as the result of investigations on Hillsboro Pike, Tennessee Avenue, and Delmar Drive. Seized were 144 pills, 27 grams of marijuana, three grams of cocaine, one vehicle and $2,970 cash.
North Precinct detectives charged 16 persons as the result of investigations on Atrium Way, Charles E. Davis Boulevard, Rosa L. Parks Boulevard, Brick Church Pike, and Trinity Lane. Seized were 6.7 grams of marijuana, 1.7 grams of heroin, .3 grams of cocaine, 21 Clonazepam pills, Three Soma pills and $684 cash.
Madison Precinct detectives charged 16 persons as the result of investigations on Dickerson Pike, Old Hickory Boulevard, and Walton Lane. Seized were 90 grams of marijuana, four grams of heroin, 19 Lortab pills and one gun.
East Precinct detectives charged 11 persons as the result of investigations on Dickerson Pike, Douglas Avenue, Gallatin Pike, and Trinity Lane. Seized were 1.5 grams of marijuana, nine Suboxone strips, 95 Xanax pills, nine Lortab pills, 23 roxycodone pills, .1 grams of heroin and 647 cash.
Central Precinct detectives charged 9 persons as the result of investigations on Garfield Street, Jefferson Street, and Lafayette Street. Seized were two grams of marijuana and four oxycodone pills.
