Mayor to Hold 3 p.m. Briefing on Winter Weather


NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Mayor Karl Dean will address the media 3 p.m. today at the Emergency Operations Center, 2060 15th Ave. S., to discuss the winter storm as well as the extreme cold that is expected to blanket Nashville. He will be joined by other Metro officials.

The National Weather Service has placed Nashville under a Wind Chill Advisory from midnight until 6 a.m. Friday. Temperatures are expected to go as low as -5 degrees when factoring in wind chill.
