NASHVILLE, Tenn. – On Friday (June 15), the Metropolitan Action Commission will host the 22nd Annual Adult Education Graduation Ceremony. Fifty-six (56) graduates adorned in caps and gowns will walk across the stage to receive their GED (General Equivalency Diploma).

Included in this year's graduating class are 15 students that will be inducted into the agency's Honor Society. These students scored at least 2500 or higher on their GED exam. A score of 2250 is required to receive a GED.

Metro Action's Adult Education Program also offers a College Preparatory course, which helps graduates with the college admissions process and covers the cost of application fees and books once students are accepted into college or a technical institution.
