Media Advisory: Mayor’s Advisory Council on Early Childhood Development & Early Education to Present Report

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Mayor's Advisory Council on Early Childhood Development & Early Education will present its first report to Mayor Karl Dean tomorrow at 10 a.m. at the Metro Action Commission's Dudley Head Start Center, 1203 Third Ave. S.

The 18-member advisory council was formed in September last year under the leadership of Vice Mayor Diane Neighbors, who has worked in early childhood education for nearly 40 years and currently serves as the Director of Vanderbilt's Child and Family Center.

Immediately following the presentation, media are invited to join Mayor Dean and Vice Mayor Neighbors on a brief tour of the Dudley Head Start Center.
