Same Men Suspected in 3 Walgreens Robbery Cases

March 31, 2016

The same persons and getaway vehicle appear to be involved in two robberies and one attempted robbery at Nashville area Walgreens stores late Wednesday night and this morning.
The attempted robbery occurred at 9:50 p.m. at the 1081 Murfreesboro Pike Walgreens location.  A white man wearing a blue “Nirvana” t-shirt with a smiley face on the front approached the clerk with his hand in a pocket, said he had a gun, and demanded money.  The clerk did not believe that he was armed and refused to give up any cash.  The robber walked out of the store empty handed.  The robber conversed with a black man wearing a purple t-shirt while in the store.  The two left the parking lot in an older model white sedan without hubcaps.  The car has damage on the passenger side.
Less than an hour later, the same two persons are believed to have traveled to the Walgreens at 5600 Charlotte Pike.  The white man threatened to kill everyone in the store if the clerk didn’t give him money.  He also demanded Marlboro cigarettes.  The clerk complied and the robber fled in the white car, which was driven by a black man.
At 7:35 a.m. today, the white man entered the Walgreens at 4201 Nolensville Pike, told employees that he was armed and demanded that they open the cash register.  The staff complied and the man fled in the parking lot in the white car.
Anyone recognizing the suspects and/or the car from the attached surveillance photographs is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463.  Callers to Crime Stoppers can remain anonymous and qualify for a cash reward.  Persons can also send an electronic tip by texting the word “CASH” along with the message to 274637 (CRIMES), or online at
