Oakwood Park Groundbreaking scheduled for December 9
Residents looking forward to improvements for 25-year old park
NASHVILLE, TN (November 20) - A groundbreaking ceremony to mark the beginning of improvements to Oakwood Park in north Nashville is scheduled for 12:15 p.m., December 9.
Improvements to the 26-acre park are expected to be completed in spring 2018 and will include new pathways both paved (asphalt and concrete), primitive hiking trails, a new playground, rehabilitation of existing basketball courts and swings, water fountains, furnishings, signage, landscaping, and drainage improvements,
