12/28/2017

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Middle Tennessee law enforcement is asking for the public’s assistance in locating an 82-year-old woman who was last seen in Murfreesboro Wednesday afternoon, but thus far has failed to return to her daughter’s Antioch home.

Joan Haynes worked at a private residence on Sawyer Drive in Murfreesboro yesterday and left at approximately 3 p.m. in her 2007 white Ford Taurus sedan bearing Tennessee license number 6DS24.  The car is described as having numerous dents.  Haynes’ daughter reports that her mother would usually travel from Murfreesboro to a family property in Readyville, in Cannon County, to check the mail before coming back to Antioch.

Haynes is black, 5’4” tall, has dark hair and wears glasses.  She was last seen wearing a tan hooded jacket, tan shirt, tan pants and black shoes.  Anyone seeing Joan Haynes or her white Taurus is asked to contact Nashville’s Emergency Communications Center at 615-862-8600 or their local law enforcement agency.
