Metro Animal Care and Control Celebrates National Dog-Mom's Day and Mother's Day

Adoption Fees Waived May 11, 12 and 13 for Moms, Moms to Be, Pet Moms

Metro Animal Care and Control is celebrating moms by waiving adoption fees for all moms, mothers to be, and pet moms on May 11, 12 and 13. The celebration of moms comes at a time when the shelter's adoption floor is at capacity.

Regular adoption fees are as much as $90.00, but are waived this weekend in honor of moms. All adopted pets at MACC will come spay/neutered, microchipped and up-to-date on all vaccinations.

If residents are not able to adopt, they can still help by providing a safe and loving environment shelter residents by becoming a foster parent for a week. Pet fostering is flexible enough for most lifestyles and all veterinary care, medication and care supplies are provided by MACC.

MACC is open seven days-a-week for adoption from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m., with special evening hours on Thursday until 6:00 p.m. MACC is located at 5125 Harding Place, Nashville, TN 37211.
