Parolee & MS-13 Gang Member Jason Sandoval Arrested on Felony Cocaine Indictment
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Specialized Investigations Division narcotics detectives assigned to the Major Case Task Force today arrested MS-13 gang member and convicted armed robber Jason Sandoval on a three-count grand jury indictment charging him with selling multi-ounce quantities of cocaine in the Nashville area.
Sandoval, who registered with the MNPD as an ex-convict on parole in August 2017, has been under investigation by the MNPD, DEA, Homeland Security Investigations and the TBI since May. The police department’s Special Response Team moved in to take Sandoval into custody as he walked out of an apartment on Due West Avenue today. He tried to run, but was unsuccessful. Searches of the apartment and the home of a relative on Bellshire Drive led to the recovery of gang paraphernalia, cocaine, marijuana, and $30,000 cash.
Sandoval is jailed in lieu of $175,000 bond.
