Metro Public Health Department to Move to Appointment System in All Clinics Beginning October 1

WHO:    Metro Public Health Department (MPHD) clinical services.

WHAT: Metro Public Health Department officials have announced plans for all clinical services to move to an appointment system. Beginning October 1, MPHD’s Immunization services, Family Planning services, and STD clinic will move to the appointment system.  Walk-ins will continue to be seen but will likely take longer to receive services.  MPHD currently offers appointments in the Tuberculosis Clinic, Dental Clinic, and Women’s Infants and Children’s (WIC) program.

WHY:     MPHD is moving to an appointment based system in all of our clinics to allow us to see patients in a more timely manner.
