Deadline is November 18 for Fall Tree Planting Program
In an effort to sustain Nashville’s Urban Tree Canopy, the Metro Beautification and Environment Commission is presenting the “Farm to Your Yard” Tree Sale. Partnering with Root Nashville, the Cumberland River Compact and the Nashville Tree Task Force, this sale makes it easy to plant a tree in your yard and, not only do something good for your family, but help to improve the health, beauty and well-being of the entire community.
Featuring freshly dug trees from the farm and delivered to your home, these trees can be planted by family, friends or for an additional fee, by a planting service. Both canopy and understory trees are being offered and residents are encouraged to plant a canopy tree where there is space and there are no overhead utility lines.
