Davidson County Voters Urged to Check Their Assigned Polling Location

With anticipation of heavy turnout for tomorrow’s Midterm Elections, the Davidson County Election Commission urges voters to verify their assigned polling location before heading out to vote.

“On Election Day, voters must cast their ballots at their assigned polling place,” explained Jeff Roberts, Davidson County administrator of elections. “Assignments are made based on street addresses, so when a voter moves within the county, their Election Day polling site could change.”

Voters should go to their new polling location to vote and easily update their address at the same time. Using the Davidson County Polling Place Finder at Vote.Nashville.gov, anyone may quickly enter their street address to confirm where they are assigned.

“Our goal is for voting to be a quick and easy process for all Davidson County voters,” continued Roberts. “With photo ID in hand and knowledge of their assigned polling location, voters can avoid confusion and seamlessly cast their ballots.”

The sample ballot and other information about elections and voting can be found on the Davidson County Election Commission website at Vote.Nashville.gov.
