*UPDATED* Teenager Sought for Thursday Night Shooting that Critically Injured 11-Year-Old Girl


UPDATE: Trevaun Glenn surrendered a short time ago at the Midtown Hills Precinct.


Officers throughout the city are now on the lookout for 16-year-old Trevaun Glenn who is named in a Juvenile Court arrest order issued this afternoon on charges of attempted criminal homicide, reckless endangerment and unlawful gun possession in connection with Thursday night’s critical wounding of an 11-year-old girl.

The shooting occurred in the kitchen of an apartment in the Andrew Jackson public housing development on Blank Street. Glenn, the victim and other young persons were in the kitchen as, according to witnesses, Glenn handled a pistol. He is reported to have pointed the gun at the victim and pulled the trigger. The 11-year-old suffered a gunshot wound to her left eye and is being treated at Vanderbilt. She is expected to survive. Glenn fled the scene after the shooting.
