Metro Animal Care and Control Celebrates the "MACCademy Awards" with Adoption Special

Adoption Fees Waived for Award Winners and $30.00 Fees for all other Pets

Metro Animal Care and Control (MACC) is celebrating the "MACCademy Awards" with an adoption special that starts February 23 and runs through March 2.

MACC staff and volunteers have voted on pets available for adoption based on the following 10 Cat-a-gories:

  • Best bark
  • Best purr
  • Best ears
  • Best tail wag
  • Best swimmer
  • Best ball chaser
  • Best comedian
  • Best smile
  • Best kitten snuggles
  • Best puppy kisses

Adoption fees for the 10 award winners will be waived and all other pet adoption fees have been reduced to $30.00 (from $90.00 for dogs or $60.00 for cats). Each award winner will have a star on their kennel with the name of the category that they won.

All pets at MACC are ready to dazzle adopters with their stunning personalities and shelter performances in hopes of winning the hearts of their new families.  Besides...who needs a golden statue when you can bring home a new best friend!

MACC is open seven days-a-week for adoption from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m., with special evening hours on Thursday until 6:00 p.m.  MACC is located at 5125 Harding Place, Nashville, TN 37211.
