Man Killed in Apparent Targeted Shooting on Lemont Drive Identified



The man killed in an apparent targeted shooting Monday night near his residence in the 100 block of Lemont Drive at the Point Breeze Apartments is identified as Charlie Easley, 19.

Officers responded to shots fired at 9 p.m. They found Easley shot multiple times lying in the street. He was transported to Skyline Medical Center where he died.

According to witnesses, a white car parked behind the victim’s apartment building. After multiple shots were fired, at least two persons were seen running toward the vehicle which fled the scene on Lemont Drive.
