Precinct-Based Undercover Detectives Charged 88 Persons This Week

Undercover detectives assigned to the department’s eight precincts charged 88 persons this week with mostly drug and prostitution offenses as the result of investigations in various Nashville neighborhoods.

Midtown Hills Precinct detectives charged 10 persons as the result of investigations on Edgehill Avenue, Charlotte Avenue, Nolensville Pike, and Harding Place. Seized were approximately 20 grams of methamphetamine, five grams of marijuana, and three handguns.

South Precinct detectives charged 17 persons as the result of investigations on Lafayette Street, Perkins Street, Lincoln Street, Murfreesboro Pike, Largo Drive, and Arbor Ridge Drive. Detectives seized 13 grams of ecstasy, 43 grams of marijuana, six pills, and four guns.

Hermitage Precinct detectives charged 14 persons as the result of investigations on Stewarts Ferry Pike, McCrory Creek Road, Brooks Mill Circle, Elm Hill Pike, Atrium Way, and Donelson Pike. Detectives seized 133 grams of marijuana and seven pills.

West Precinct detectives charged 9 persons as the result of investigations on Charlotte Pike, Old Hickory Boulevard, Twin Street, and Alabama Avenue. Detectives seized 42 grams of marijuana and one vehicle.

North Precinct detectives charged 12 persons as the result of investigations on Brick Church Pike, Trinity Lane, Clarksville Pike, Whites Creek Pike, 12th Avenue North, Cockrill Street, and Baptist World Center Drive. Detectives seized 14.4 grams of MDMA, 113 pills, 1.5 grams of cocaine, one gram of methamphetamine, one gram of heroin, and two grams of marijuana.

Madison Precinct detectives charged 9 persons as the result of investigations on Hawkwood Lane, Rainwood Drive, Dickerson Pike, and Gibson Drive. Detectives seized 2.5 grams of heroin, 15.5 grams of methamphetamine, two grams of cocaine, five grams of marijuana, one handgun, and $2,330 cash.

East Precinct detectives charged 6 persons as the result of investigations on Dickerson Pike, Trinity Lane, Gallatin Pike, and Hancock Street. Detectives seized 13 ounces of methamphetamine, one ounce of heroin, two grams of cocaine, 14 grams of marijuana, three Suboxone pills, and two handguns

Central Precinct detectives charged 11 persons as the result of investigations on Drexel Street, 7th Avenue South, Lafayette Street, Middleton Street, and 2nd Avenue South. Detectives seized 7.5 grams of cocaine, 20 Xanax pills, and one gun.
