Precinct-Based Undercover Detectives Charged 77 Persons This Week

Undercover detectives assigned to the department’s eight precincts charged 77 persons this week with mostly drug and prostitution offenses as the result of investigations in various Nashville neighborhoods.
Midtown Hills Precinct detectives charged 8 persons as the result of investigations on Nolensville Pike, Harding Place, and Charlotte Avenue. Detectives seized four grams of heroin, one vehicle, and one gun.
South Precinct detectives charged 16 persons as the result of investigations on Lincoln Street, Haywood Lane, Murfreesboro Pike, Tampa Drive, Linbar Drive, Harding Place, Bell Road, and Stone Bridge Drive. Detectives seized six grams of cocaine, 18.5 grams of heroin, three grams of methamphetamine, 52.7 grams of marijuana, 17 milliliters of liquid Suboxone, and one gun.
Hermitage Precinct detectives charged 14 persons as the result of investigations on Stewarts Ferry Pike, Lafayette Street, Charles E Davis Blvd, Murfreesboro Pike, Elliston Street, and Old Hickory Boulevard. Detectives seized 39 grams of cocaine, 50 grams of marijuana, eleven grams of heroin, and 15 pills.
West Precinct detectives charged three persons as the result of investigations on White Bridge Road and Islay Court.
North Precinct detectives charged 6 persons as the result of investigations on Brick Church Pike, Trinity Lane, Buchanan Street, 16th Avenue North, and Dr. D.B. Todd Boulevard. Detectives seized 3.3 grams of ecstasy, 190 Xanax pills, seven grams of marijuana, and one gram of methamphetamine.
Madison Precinct detectives charged 10 persons as the result of investigations on Gallatin Pike, Old Hickory Boulevard, and Cedarwood Lane. Detectives seized 15 grams of cocaine and four grams of methamphetamine.
East Precinct detectives charged 10 persons as the result of investigations on Dickerson Pike, Trinity Lane, Gallatin Pike, and Jones Avenue. Detectives seized 34 grams of marijuana, one gram of heroin, and one Suboxone strip.
Central Precinct detectives charged 10 persons as the result of investigations on 7th Avenue South, Middleton Street, Symphony Place, and Drexel Street.
