Metro Parks’ Wave Country and Spraygrounds open Saturday, May 25!

Season Opening of Wave Country and Spraygrounds - The season opening of Wave Country always marks the official start of summer. In addition to great rates, free parking, speed slides, and water flumes; Wave Country now offers Birthday Party Packages that offer all the extras that will make any birthday party the best ever! Wave Country is one of the area's only wave-action swimming pools! Floats are included in admission but the supply of floats is limited. Extensive fast-food concessions are available as well!

Wave Country

Wave Country is located in Two Rivers Park, a popular destination for a variety of recreational activities. The Two Rivers Golf Course, a popular and well-maintained municipal course, is just across the road from the water park. Two Rivers Park also features a Frisbee Disc Golf course, a playground, picnic shelters, and a beautiful section of the Stones River Greenway. The popular Metro Skate Park, which shares the parking lot with Wave Country, features both street elements and bowls for skateboards, in-line skates, and BMX bikes. There is no admission charge for the skate park, but helmets are required and pads are strongly recommended.

Admission Prices

  • Adult (13 years and older) - $12.00
  • Child (3 years to 12 years) - $10.00*
  • Child (2 years and under) - FREE
  • Spectator - Everyone entering Wave Country is required to pay the appropriate admission fee listed above

*Rates will be half price for children Monday through Thursday from the hours of 3 to 5p.m, excluding holidays.
*Children 12 years old and under must be accompanied by an 18 year old adult to come in Wave Country.

  • Monday – Thursday: 11:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
  • Friday – Saturday: 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
  • Sunday: 11:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Holiday Hours

  • Memorial Day: 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
  • July 4th: 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
  • Labor Day: 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

There are several spraygrounds located throughout the city. They are all free of charge and are open Memorial Day through Labor Day.
