Man Dies After Being Shot Saturday Outside Jefferson Street Bar



North Precinct detectives are working to identify the person(s) responsible for Saturday evening’s gunfire outside the Last Hole Bar at 1502 Jefferson Street that resulted in the death of Richard Lee Marsh, 27.

Marsh was brought to General Hospital by private vehicle at 8:30 p.m. Saturday suffering from gunshot wounds to his head. He was transferred to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where he died late Sunday afternoon.

The gunfire took place in the rear parking lot of the bar. It was reported that a large crowd was present at the time; however, no witnesses have come forward.
