Join Nashville mural artist Andee Rudloff and help create GNASHville SPLASHVILLE, a colorful mural next to the splashpad at the Kirkpatrick Community Center.

What: Kirkpatrick GNASHville SPLASHVILLE Splashpad Mural

This community project is sponsored by Creative Parks Nashville and made possible through a generous grant provided by the Preds Foundation. The splashpad mural and community participation project aim to promote neighborhood awareness, instill community pride, and enhance the adjacent East Nashville communities with art in public spaces.

All upcoming events are free and open to the public, and the community is encouraged to participate!

Upcoming Community Events

Join the fun and help make this happen!

Community Mural “Design” Day – Help identify images and concepts for the mural.
When: Wednesday, July 17 – 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

During this public engagement day, the community will work together to identify images and concepts that will serve as inspiration for the mural. Artist Andee Rudloff will take the ideas and images created by the public and create a cohesive artwork for the Kirkpatrick Splashpad.

Community Painting Days – All ages welcome, come be part of the painting process.
When: Monday, July 22 and Tuesday, July 23 -- beginning at 10:00 a.m. each day.

The community will work together to paint the mural drawn by the artist.

Mural Reveal Party (TBD) – Celebrate the completion of your mural.
When: A reveal party and unveiling of the installed mural will be held in August (date to be determined).
