Detectives Working to Identify Serial South Nashville Burglary Suspects
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
South Precinct detectives are working to identify two serial burglary suspects who early today burglarized the following three businesses:
- Dollar General at 3:20 a.m., 301 Thompson Lane;
- Mapco at 4 a.m., 311 Harding Place (attempted);
- Mapco at 4:15 a.m., 365 Harding Place.
The suspects first made entry into the Dollar General by breaking out a window. They took cigarettes. Next, they entered the Mapco on Harding Place, which was open, and attempted to take the cash register. A clerk stopped them. They then went to the nearby Mapco on Harding Place, which was closed, and broke in through the front door. A cash register drawer was taken. They fled in a silver four-door sedan with rear end damage on the driver’s side.
Both suspects are black men who appear to be in their 20s. One has dyed pink hair. He is approximately 5’10” tall and weighs 170 pounds. He wore a white shirt, long plaid shorts, and blue shoes. The second suspect was not wearing a shirt. He wore his blue jeans around his upper thighs, exposing his underwear.
Anyone recognizing the suspects or getaway vehicle from the attached surveillance photos is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463. Callers to Crime Stoppers can remain anonymous and qualify for a cash reward.
