Precinct-Based Undercover Detectives Charge 80 Persons This Week

Undercover detectives assigned to the department’s eight precincts charged 80 persons this week with mostly drug and prostitution offenses as the result of investigations in various Nashville neighborhoods.
Midtown Hills Precinct detectives charged 3 persons as the result of investigations on Charlotte Pike, State Street, Nolensville Pike, Old Hickory Boulevard, 14th Avenue South, and Harding Place. Seized was a small quantity of cocaine.
South Precinct detectives charged 18 persons as the result of investigations on Perkins Street, Lincoln Street, Bell Road, Lafayette Street, Largo Drive, and Murfreesboro Pike. Seized were .5 gram of cocaine, 12.5 pounds of marijuana, 75 pills, and 3 guns.
Hermitage Precinct detectives charged 28 persons as the result of investigations on Falls Creek Drive, Old Hickory Boulevard, Mill Road, Andrew Jackson Parkway, Lewis Street, Green Street, Lafayette Street, and Monaco Drive. Seized were more than three ounces of heroin, more than an ounce of cocaine, four grams of meth, 14 pills, and 9 guns.
West Precinct detectives charged 1 person as the result of investigations on Croley Drive, Brick Church Pike, Highway 70 South, and Old Hickory Boulevard. Seized were 2.3 pounds of marijuana, 11.1 grams of methamphetamine, 15.9 grams of heroin, and .7 gram of cocaine.
North Precinct detectives charged 4 persons as the result of investigations on Brick Church Pike, Trinity Lane, 16th Avenue North, Cockrill Street, Jefferson Street, Dr. D.B. Todd Boulevard, and Buchanan Street. Seized were 13.1 grams of crack cocaine, 2 ounces of meth, .6 gram of marijuana, a stolen pistol, and $530 cash.
Madison Precinct detectives charged 8 persons as the result of investigations on Brick Church Pike, Larkin Springs Road, Rio Vista Drive, Westchester Drive, and North Graycroft Avenue. Seized were 156 grams of marijuana, 1 gram of cocaine, 1 gram of heroin, 1 pistol, and $5,000 cash.
East Precinct detectives charged 8 persons as the result of investigations on Dickerson Pike, Trinity Lane, Gallatin Pike, Maplewood Lane, Gina Brooke Drive, and Alhambra Circle. Seized were 5.9 grams of cocaine, 1 gram of marijuana, 2.3 grams of heroin, and 2 pistols.
Central Precinct detectives charged 10 persons as the result of investigations on 7th Avenue South, Lafayette Street, Middleton Street, and Ewing Avenue. Seized were a small amount of marijuana, three grams of crack cocaine and $258 cash.
