UPDATE: Authorities located missing person 81-year-old Mercedes Gonzalez unharmed. He has been reunited with his family.

SILVER ALERT: Missing person detectives are seeking the public’s assistance in locating 81-year-old Mercedes Gonzalez who has Alzheimer’s.

Gonzalez was last seen at his daughter’s Cabot Drive apartment today at 9:45 a.m. His family reported him missing tonight. Gonzalez has an MTA bus pass. His cell phone is either off or out of battery.

Gonzales is 5’6” tall and weighs 150 pounds. He is bald and wears eyeglasses. He was wearing gray pants, a white polo shirt, and a blue ball cap that says “Salinas”.

Anyone seeing Gonzales, who lives on N. Dupont Drive in Madison, or knowing his whereabouts is urged to contact the Department of Emergency Communications at 615-862-8600.
