Juvenile Crime Task Force Arrests a Teen for October 15 Armed Carjacking in Bellevue

Juvenile Crime Task Force officers late Wednesday night charged a 17-year-old with this week’s armed carjacking of a couple as they unloaded their 2014 Chevy Cruze outside an Airbnb location on Harpeth Knoll Road.

Jordan Brownlee, who during questioning by West Precinct Detective Kristin Morgan admitted to his involvement in the carjacking, was booked at juvenile detention.

Brownlee was taken into custody after an electronic device belonging to one of the victims emitted a signal in the vicinity of Brownlee’s Lanier Drive home. Officers subsequently discovered the car in his backyard. Brownlee was home and had the keys to the car in his pocket. The victims’ computer equipment was apparently sold to an electronic repair store nearby.
