Precinct-Based Undercover Detectives Charged 74 Persons This Week

Undercover detectives assigned to the department’s eight precincts charged 74 persons this week with mostly drug and prostitution offenses as the result of investigations in various Nashville neighborhoods.
Midtown Hills Precinct detectives charged 6 persons as the result of investigations on Old Hickory Boulevard, Nolensville Pike, Edmondson Pike, and Hickory Hollow Place. Detectives seized 20 grams of marijuana, 15 grams of methamphetamine, and recovered one stolen vehicle.
South Precinct detectives charged 16 persons as the result of investigations on Lincoln Street, Perkins Street, Ravenna Court, Bell Road, Haywood Lane, Harding Place, and Linbar Drive. Detectives seized 4.5 grams of cocaine, .5 gram of heroin, 34 grams of marijuana, and one gun.
Hermitage Precinct detectives charged 17 persons as the result of investigations on Mount View Road, Fain Street, McGavock Pike, Lebanon Pike, Opry Mills Drive, Fairfield Avenue, Lewis Street, Lafayette Street, Murfreesboro Pike, and Thompson Place. Detectives seized 103 grams of marijuana, five grams of cocaine, six grams of heroin, ten pills, two grams of methamphetamine, one vehicle, two guns, and $349 cash.
West Precinct detectives were on special assignment this week.
North Precinct detectives charged 8 persons as the result of investigations on Brick Church Pike, Trinity Lane, Jefferson Street, Buchanan Street, 16th Avenue North, Cockrill Street, and Clarksville Pike. Detectives seized two grams of heroin and .2 gram of cocaine.
Madison Precinct detectives charged 10 persons as the result of investigations on Kate Street, Cheyenne Boulevard, Creekwood Drive, and Coreland Drive.
Detectives seized 55 pills, 18 pills, four grams of heroin, one gram of methamphetamine, two grams of cocaine, and three guns.
East Precinct detectives charged 5 persons as the result of investigations on Dickerson Pike, Trinity Lane, Delta Avenue, and Joyce Lane. Detectives seized 30.4 grams of heroin, 25.1 grams of cocaine, and 7.8 grams of marijuana.
Central Precinct detectives charged 12 persons as the result of investigations on Middleton Street, Lafayette Street, Ewing Avenue, and Peabody Street.
