Precinct-Based Undercover Detectives Charged 31 Persons This Week

Undercover detectives assigned to the department’s eight precincts charged 31 persons this week with mostly drug and prostitution offenses as the result of investigations in various Nashville neighborhoods.
Midtown Hills Precinct detectives are on special assignment, focusing on a rash of robberies. South and West Precinct detectives are also on special assignment.
Hermitage Precinct detectives charged 14 persons as the result of investigations on Central Pike, Murfreesboro Pike, Bell Road, Tulip Grove Road, and Thompson Lane. Detectives seized eight grams of heroin, 5.5 grams of methamphetamine, 32.6 grams of marijuana, one pill, and $390 cash.
North Precinct detectives charged 5 persons as the result of investigations on Brick Church Pike, Trinity Lane, Whites Creek Pike, Jefferson Street, 16th and 23rd Avenues North, and Dr. D.B. Todd Boulevard. Detectives seized three grams of heroin, three methadone pills, 67 grams of marijuana, and 5.2 grams of cocaine. Detectives also assisted with the seizure of 83 marijuana plants and one vehicle.
Madison Precinct detectives charged 6 persons as the result of investigations on Margaret Drive, Wade Circle, Myatt Drive, North Dupont Avenue, and May Drive. Detectives seized three grams of marijuana and ten grams of heroin.
East Precinct detectives charged 2 persons as the result of investigations on Dickerson Pike, Trinity Lane, Gallatin Pike, and Broadmoor Drive. Detectives seized one gram of heroin and two grams of cocaine.
Central Precinct detectives charged 4 persons as the result of investigations on Middleton Street, Lafayette Street, and 6th Avenue South.
