Midtown Hills Precinct Detectives Pursuing Leads in Monday Afternoon's Murder of Jamal Crawford



Midtown Hills Precinct detectives are pursuing leads as they work to identify the persons involved in Monday afternoon’s murder of Jamal Montez Crawford, 23, who was fatally shot at 4:20 p.m. in the 700 block of Alloway Street as the apparent result of a drug deal gone awry.

The investigation shows that Crawford was shot while meeting with two men who arrived in a black Nissan Juke (Crossover vehicle). Both of the suspects are black. One is described as having near waist-length dreads. He wore a black/blue tracksuit and a toboggan hat. The second man is bald, wore glasses and a gray sweatshirt.
