Nashville Murder Fugitive Apprehended in Florida

Fugitive murder suspect Ronald Dickens, accused in the January 25 murder of his wife inside their Hermitage Apartment, is in custody in Pinellas County, Florida.
Deputy United States Marshals and Pinellas County Sheriff’s deputies apprehended Dickens, 42, Wednesday night after following up on information developed by the Marshal’s Fugitive Task Force in Nashville. Dickens was driving the victim’s black Toyota Camry in Florida and had possession of her bank card.
Dickens is charged with murdering Shawnton Clay 30. She was found deceased by family members on January 25 inside the couple’s home at Avalon Apartments on Andrew Jackson Way.
Dickens will be returned to Nashville in the near future.
