Precinct-Based Undercover Detectives Charged 57 Persons This Week

Undercover detectives assigned to the department’s eight precincts charged 57 persons this week with mostly drug and prostitution offenses as the result of investigations in various Nashville neighborhoods.
West Precinct detectives charged 3 persons as the result of investigations on Bransford Avenue, Summercrest Boulevard, and County Hospital Road. Detectives seized 4.3 grams of heroin, three grams of marijuana, 37.9 grams of cocaine, and 71 pills.
Hermitage Precinct detectives charged 16 persons as the result of investigations on Monaco Drive, Lebanon Pike, Old Hickory Boulevard, Cunningham Street, Dodson Chapel Road, Bell Road, and Stewart’s Ferry Pike. Detectives seized five grams of heroin, 15 grams of marijuana, and two grams of methamphetamine.
North Precinct detectives charged 7 persons as the result of investigations on Brick Church Pike, Trinity Lane, Whites Creek Pike, Buchanan Street, Jefferson Street, and 16th Avenue North. Detectives seized 15.8 grams of cocaine, 15.3 grams of marijuana, one handgun, one vehicle, and $790 cash.
Madison Precinct detectives charged 7 persons as the result of investigations on Maple Street, Old Hickory Boulevard, Gallatin Pike, and Creekwood Drive. Detectives seized 50 grams of methamphetamine, two grams of cocaine, eleven grams of marijuana, eleven ecstasy pills, and three guns.
East Precinct detectives charged 9 persons as the result of investigations on Dickerson Pike, Trinity Lane, Gallatin Pike, and Joyce Lane. Detectives seized 2.4 grams of heroin, .5 gram of cocaine, 1.2 grams of methamphetamine, and one gram of marijuana.
South Precinct detectives charged 15 persons as the result of investigations on Metroplex Drive, Lafayette Street, Lincoln Street, Bell Road, First Avenue South, Hickory Hollow Lane, Linbar Drive, Largo Drive, and Sprucedale Drive. Detectives seized two grams of cocaine, one gram of heroin, one gram of ecstasy, two pounds of marijuana, six pills, and two guns.
Central and Midtown Hills Precinct detectives were on special assignment this week related to crime hotspots.
