Woman Killed in Single-Vehicle Crash on Nolensville Pike

The driver killed just after midnight Sunday in a single-vehicle crash in the 4500 block of Nolensville Pike is tentatively identified as an 18-year-old Nashville woman. The Medical Examiner will make positive identification.

The preliminary investigation shows that she was driving a 2007 Saab southeast on Nolensville Pike during a heavy rain storm when she lost control of the car. The Saab left the roadway, struck a concrete wall, and collided with a utility pole on the driver’s side of the vehicle. The woman, who was wearing her seatbelt, died at the scene. She had no identification on her person. There was no evidence of alcohol or drug involvement at the scene.
