Two Feuding Neighbors Charged with Aggravated Assault After Gunfire Injures Woman

Two feuding neighbors are each charged with aggravated assault after a Friday afternoon argument between the men led to gunfire which injured a woman.
Joe Cole, 25, and Kechon Freeman, 21, who live near each other in the 100 block of Tuckahoe Square East, got into an argument. During the initial dispute, Freeman was armed with a rifle. Cole is then alleged to have retrieved a rifle from his residence, firing shots into the air and then into Freeman’s residence, striking Freeman’s 20-year-old girlfriend in the arm. She was transported by private vehicle to Skyline Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
