Join us for an immersive dance experience for intermediate and advanced teen dancers with a ballet background. Dancers train in a wide range of styles and approaches that reflect the professional dance world today including: body work and conditioning to develop a deeper sense of body awareness and long-lasting and healthy movement practices; rigorous and invigorating classical ballet technique, pointe work, character and repertory; contemporary or modern technique; and enrichment workshops in injury prevention and other styles of dance. The intensive culminates in a showing for family and friends. Students must have taken classical ballet for the previous three years.

Centennial Youth Ballet Junior Intensive for 10-13 years old

  • June 15-19, 2020
  • Monday-Friday, 12:30-4:30 p.m.
  • Guest faculty to be announced
  • Registration opens in January, 2020

This program is a wonderful way for students to transition into a more rigorous training environment over the summer, work with guest faculty, and challenge themselves in a supportive and healthy environment. Students take ballet technique and variations, enrichment techniques, and an injury prevention and nutrition workshop that gives students information on how to make it through long rehearsal days and take care of their bodies.
