Nashville has a rich variety of trails, trail groups, and trail advocates, all contributing to a trail network of more than 270 miles for hiking, biking, mountain biking, horseback riding and paddling.

Paved trails are two-way and multi-use

No motorized vehicles on the trails

Please Follow These Rules

  • Maximum speed on trail is 15 mph
  • Keep to the right; pass on the left
  • Keep pets on-leash not exceeding 6 ft.
  • Bicyclists and skaters yield to pedestrians
  • Give audible signal when passing
  • Stay on designated trails
  • Put trash in receptacles at trailheads
  • Open daily from dawn to dusk

  • Leave valuables at home
  • Take care keys with you
  • Trails and bridges may be slippery or uneven
  • Trail is subject to flash flooding; exit the greenway immediately during heavy rains
