Warner Parks – Burch Reserve Connector

The Burch Reserve is a property recently acquired by Friends of Warner Parks and Metro Parks located across Highway 100 from the Woolwine Entrance to Edwin Warner Park. The approximately 250-acre site includes gently rolling fields and steep forested slopes that are slated for hiking trails in the future. The Burch Reserve Connector will provide public access to the site as well as a pedestrian connection to the nature center. The project, which is scheduled for completion in late 2015, will include a new entry drive off of Highway 100, a parking lot and a pedestrian tunnel under the railroad tracks. Trails will connect all of these features and include a crosswalk on Highway 100.
