About the Plan
The Donelson/Hermitage/Old Hickory Community Plan was most recently updated in August 2017, as part of a scheduled review of the NashvilleNext long-range plan.
All of the Planning Department's fourteen Community Plans are guided by the Community Character Manual, a document which provides detailed policy guidance based on the look and feel of neighborhoods, centers, corridors, and open spaces.

Supplemental Policy Areas for Lebanon Pike
The Lebanon Pike Supplemental Policies illustrate the neighborhood's vision and expectations for future development and provide additional guidance beyond what is found in the Community Character Manual. Part of this includes an updated Lebanon Pike Policy Map. This guidance will be considered for all applicable zoning and development applications. Supplemental Policy Area for Central Pike
The Supplemental Policy for Central Pike addresses issues identified by the community related to the mix of land uses, mobility, connectivity, and pedestrian infrastructure. The Supplemental Policy provides additional guidance beyond what is found in the Community Character Manual. This guidance will be considered for all applicable zoning and development applications.
