Upcoming meetings which require public notification are listed here. The Planning Commission meets at 4 p.m. on the second and fourth Thursday of each month in the Sonny West Conference Center at the Howard Office Building, 700 Second Avenue South. Only one meeting may be held in December.

February 11: Public hearing on Major and Collector Street Plan Amendment – West End Avenue

The Metropolitan Planning Commission will hold a public hearing during the regular Planning Commission meeting on Thursday, February 11, 2016 at 4:00 PM in the Metro Nashville Public Schools Headquarters in the Board of Education Meeting Room located at 2601 Bransford Avenue. The purpose of the public hearing is to provide interested persons the opportunity to express their views about the requested amendment. The proposed amendment would change the right-of-way width in the Major and Collector Street Plan from 102 feet to 87 feet impacting the ability for a proposed development to provide a wider grass strip and wider sidewalk. April 28: Public hearing on potential amendment to Subdivision Regulations

Notice of Public Hearing to Amend the Subdivision Regulations

Notice is hereby given that the Metropolitan Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on a potential amendment to the Subdivision Regulations on Thursday, April 28, 2016, as part of a regularly scheduled Planning Commission meeting. That meeting will begin at 4:00 pm in the Sonny West Conference Center in Metro's Howard Office Building, 700 Second Avenue South.

The Public Hearing will be held to consider amendments to Subdivision Regulations adopted on March 9, 2006.

Notice of Public Hearing to Amend the General Plan

Notice is hereby given that the Metropolitan Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on a proposed amendment to the General Plan on Thursday, May 26, 2016, as part of a regularly scheduled Planning Commission meeting. That meeting will begin at 4:00 pm in the Sonny West Auditorium of the Howard Office Building at 700 2nd Avenue South.

The Public Hearing will be held to consider changes to community character policies for properties within 11 areas within the Bordeaux-Whites Creek Community Plan deferred from the June 22, 2015, Metro Planning Commission hearing to adopt NashvilleNext.
