Priority Snow Route List and Interactive Locator Map
Public Works is responsible for over 5,800 miles of roadways in Davidson County. Of those, the department has 1,800 miles of roadways listed as snow removal priority routes.
Each street or roadway on our “Snow Removal List” has been classified as Primary Route or a Secondary Route.
The Primary Route is the first priority and will be cleared to a reasonable degree before starting operations on the Secondary Route.
Once these routes are cleared satisfactorily, customer requests for snow removal will be handled on a first-come, first-served basis. Each request will be handled or responded to in the order in which it was received. Request snow/ice removal online.
There shall be no deviation from priority lists without approval of the Public Works Director or the Public Works Superintendent - Operations.
