Homeless Impact Division Reports and Documents

The Homeless Impact Division staffs the Continuum of Care Homelessness Planning Council. There are some documents related to the governance of the Homelessness Planning Council that will be posted on this page. Other Continuum of Care (CoC) documents can be found on the Metropolitan Development and Housing Agency's (MDHA) Continuum of Care Webpage. MDHA serves as the collaborative applicant for the CoC.

The Planning Council approved the Coordinated Entry System (CES) Policies and Procedures Manual on July 19, 2018.

Monthly Reports

The Homeless Impact Division provides a monthly report to the Continuum of Care Homelessness Planning Council. We will post those reports for public review on this page by date of their release:

Nashville Point In Time Counts

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) requires each Continuum of Care across the nation to conduct a one-night census of people sleeping in emergency shelters, transitional beds, on the streets, in encampments, and in other places not meant for human habitation. The federal government is collecting this data from more than 400 localities across the nation to send a detailed report on homelessness to Congress. That report usually is released in November.

Nashville's 2020 Point In Time was conducted on January 23 and was organized by the Metropolitan Development and Housing Agency (MDHA) in collaboration with the Homeless Impact Division and the Homelessness Planning Council.
