  • Ford Ice Center was developed as a public-private partnership between the City and the Nashville Predators.
  • Includes a six-acre common park area featuring a playground and a quarter-mile walking trail.

Capacity

90,000 square-foot facility includes:

  • Two NHL-size ice rinks,
  • Yoga/ballet studio,
  • Four party/meeting rooms,
  • 2,500 square feet of off-ice training space,
  • Concessions and the
  • Perani's Hockey World pro shop.

Cost

  • Cost of Construction: Approximately $15 million.
  • Financed By:
    • Sports Authority Bonded Capital - $15 million.
    • General Services Bonded Capital - $653 thousand.
  • Repayment:
    • Arena Ticket surcharge revenues.
    • Non-Tax Revenues of the Metropolitan Governement (if ticket surcharge revenues are insufficient).
