Riverside and Porter Water Main Replacement

  • Project Number: 15WG0104
  • Council District: 6 and 7
  • Contractor: SBW Constructors, LLC
  • Project Timeline: September 2017 - Spring 2018
  • Work Hours: During the day, Monday through Friday
  • Road Closure/Detour: Portion of road may be closed; however, access to homes and businesses will be maintained.

This project will replace water lines to upgrade the water system.

Update: Water line construction is complete. Stormwater project estimated completion by end of July and paving will follow.

Alley #902 between Murphy and Patterson Combined Storm and Sewer Project

  • Contractor: Middle Tennessee Infrastructure
  • Project Timeline: July 2018 – September 2018
  • Work Hours: During the day, Monday through Friday
  • Road Closure/Detour: Alley #902 will be closed and portions of roads will be closed; however, access to homes and businesses will be maintained.

This project will install new combined storm and sewer line infrastructure in the alley.

Clean Water Nashville Overflow Abatement Program Projects List

The Clean Water Nashville Overflow Abatement Program is an initiative led by Metro Water Services (MWS) in coordination with partner agencies including the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation (TDEC) for the purpose of meeting the Clean Water Act requirements and, in the process, ensuring the environmental health of the Cumberland River and its tributaries for future generations.
