• Past member of the Tennessee Standards and Training Commission.
• Past member of the Tennessee Sex Offender Treatment Board.
• Served 33 years with the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department retiring as Commander of the East Precinct.

• Service as a board member and Chairman of Street Works and the Nashville Prevention Partnership.
• Past President of the Andrew Jackson Lodge of the Fraternal Order of Police.
• Past chairman of the McMurray Hills Neighborhood Association.
• Participates in the Tusculum Elementary School Partnership Meetings and supports the Branch of Nashville.
• Performs for Music for Seniors.
